Heaven White wins Earth Day Poster Contest in Jacksonville, Florida

Heaven White, a student at LaVilla School of the Arts in Jacksonville, FL, has won the DEP Northeast District 2024 Earth Day Poster Contest for grades 6-8. Her winning poster, "Let the Sun Power Our Future," showcases her creativity and vision for a sustainable future. At a recent board meeting, Heaven was awarded the Superintendent's Coin of Excellence in recognition of her achievement. She was supported by her teacher, Ms. Cheryl Lunger, and LaVilla principal, Kimberly Harrison.
