The Boise Fire Department provided an update on Brush 12's deployment to the Goat Fire, located southeast of Cascade. Since September 12th, crew members Nick Caple, Erik Rush, Jeff Sawmiller, and Cory Brady have been actively working on the wildfire. Initially, they focused on putting in and pumping hose lines, but they have now shifted to mopping up hotspots and patrolling the fire line. The crew is scheduled to return to Boise on Friday. The department commended their efforts and wishes them a safe and healthy return.
