North Port Parks and Recreation announced on September 27, 2024, that several parks have been cleared for reopening. The parks that are now open include Canine Club Dog Park, Marius Park, Hope Park, Highland Ridge Park, McKibben Park, and Marina Park, although the wooden walkway at Marina Park remains closed.

Visitors should be aware that some small debris may still be present in these parks. Staff members are currently focused on reopening all parks and will begin debris cleanup as soon as possible.
