On September 27, 2024, detectives from the Greece Police Department, with assistance from the Buffalo Police Department, arrested two individuals related to an ongoing investigation into a stolen police rifle. The arrestees are Pierre McCullen, 41, and Christopher McCullen, 53, both residents of Buffalo, New York.

Both Pierre and Christopher McCullen have been charged with the following offenses:

- Three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree

- Grand Larceny in the Third Degree

- Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree

The charges of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree stem from their alleged possession of a weapon, having a prior criminal conviction, possessing an assault weapon, and possessing a large-capacity magazine.
