The San Antonio Public Library is hosting a birdwatching event for beginners, led by David Goree, Education Coordinator with SA Parks & Recreation. The session is designed for those interested in learning about birdwatching and will cover how to listen to and observe birds, identify different species, and utilize binoculars and the Merlin Bird ID app.

Participants will start indoors at the library before moving outdoors to practice birdwatching. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own binoculars, but they will also have the option to borrow a pair from the library.
