Sarasota County Opens Debris Drop-off for Residents

**Solid Waste Update Following Hurricane Milton in Sarasota County**

Sarasota County has announced important information regarding the recovery efforts after Hurricane Milton. Starting Tuesday, October 15, public drop-off sites for vegetative storm debris will be available at no cost for residents in both unincorporated Sarasota County and local municipalities.

The designated drop-off sites will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The locations are:

- Rothenbach Park, located at 8650 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota.

- Jackson Road Transfer Station, located at 250 S. Jackson Road, Venice.

Residents are encouraged to self-transport their storm debris to these sites as part of the recovery efforts.
