The Town of Clay is offering a training course through the New York Citizen Preparedness Training Program aimed at helping residents prepare for disasters. With the increase in severe weather events, the program focuses on equipping families with the necessary tools and resources to handle any type of disaster and recover swiftly.

The training will cover how to respond to both natural and man-made disasters. Each attending family will receive a preparedness kit as part of the program.

The class is scheduled for Wednesday, November 20th at 7 PM and will take place at the Town of Clay Highway Department. Interested participants must register in advance at www.prepare.ny.gov.
