Columbus City Schools will host the Pathway Express event on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, located at 4850 W Powell Rd., Powell, OH 43065. The event aims to provide educational experiences focused on STEM and zoology.

Key features of the event include:

- Free flu shots for attendees.

- Opportunities to explore freshwater mussels in partnership with the Watters Aquatic Conservation Center.

- Information on environmental responsibility from Keep Columbus Beautiful.

- Free books and giveaways available, while supplies last.

- A chance to enjoy the zoo's holiday lights.

Tickets for the event are limited and are required for zoo entry. Free parking is available to those who present a valid zoo parking pass, which will be given out during ticket registration.

Transportation is also provided, with buses shuttling families from Northland, Walnut Ridge, West, and South High Schools to the zoo and back. Buses will depart from the schools at 3:00 p.m. and will leave the zoo at 8:00 p.m. to return attendees to the schools.

For those interested in attending, it is advised to obtain tickets as soon as possible, as they are expected to go quickly.
