Detectives with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station are seeking the public's help in an attempted kidnapping investigation that took place on Thursday, June 13, 2024, around 4:10 PM at Valencia Hills Homeowners Association community pool. An adult male approached a young boy as he was leaving the pool and asked him to go with him to another location. The male followed the boy briefly before the boy rode away on his bike. Witnesses or anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Detective Chappell at (661) 260-4000 ext. 5618.
