The Austin Parks and Recreation Department in Austin, Texas is offering a free basketball clinic for kids aged 6 to 8 years old at Montopolis Recreation & Community Center. The clinic will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, starting on September 17, 2024. Volunteer coaches will lead the clinic, focusing on teaching the basics of basketball including dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense. Parents interested in registering their children can do so online at austintexas.gov/parksonline using the Activity Number 743310BASKETBALL.
