EMS hosts Emergency Preparedness presentation at Nineteenth Street Church.

Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services visited Nineteenth Street Baptist Church in Austin, Texas to give a presentation on Emergency Preparedness for Seniors. The #ATCEMS Community Relations/Injury Prevention Team conducted the session, which included an ambulance show and tell. The team answered questions about their services and roles in the community. ATCEMS offers free training on topics such as Heat Safety Awareness, First Aid Basics, Lightning Safety, Emergency Preparedness, and Senior Safety / Vial of Life for adult and teen groups of 10 or more. Organizations can schedule a presentation by filling out an Event Request Form on the Austintexas.gov website. Visitors to the Safety Resources section of the website can find safety-related information, including videos and printable materials like brochures, flyers, and handouts.
