Eleven line workers from the City of Rocky Mount, North Carolina are traveling to Tallahassee, Florida. Their mission is to provide mutual aid assistance in restoring power following the anticipated impact of Tropical Storm Helene, which is expected to make landfall along the Gulf Coast of Florida. The city expressed gratitude for the dedicated workers who are ready to support neighboring communities in need as part of the mutual aid network associated with Public Power providers.
