Rain showers are expected to end by mid-afternoon today, September 26, 2024, according to the US National Weather Service in Buffalo, NY. A frontal system associated with low pressure is moving through the region this morning, causing a few lingering showers, particularly in the Southern Tier and east of Rochester, which may last until early afternoon. Following this, high pressure will build across the lower Great Lakes, bringing fair and dry weather to the area through at least Friday.
