The University of San Francisco will host the Alumni Awards on Friday, October 18, 2024, honoring eight distinguished recipients for their contributions in various fields.

The Alumni of the Year award will be presented to Mike Monroe, class of 1970, and Eva Monroe, class of 1972. Other awards include the Professional Achievement Award for Salvador Aceves, class of 1983, the Public Service Award for Sheila Burke, class of 1973, and the Al Alessandri Award for Hannah Mora, class of 2010. The Cable Car Award will be given to Tom and Gaylene Hoshiyama, along with Elizabeth Zitrin.
