Raise Awareness: October is Domestic Violence Month

October is recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) to raise awareness about relationship abuse and those affected by it. The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is participating in this initiative by collaborating with the National Domestic Violence Hotline. They promote the importance of healthy relationships and encourage individuals to understand the signs of abuse.
If anyone needs assistance, support is available through the hotline at 800-799-7233. To learn more about the warning signs of abuse, individuals can visit bit.ly/warning-signs-abuse. Everyone is encouraged to take action during this month to promote awareness and educate themselves on this important issue.
