CTECC Enhances Regional Emergency Response Collaboration

The Austin City Auditor’s office visited the Combined Transportation, Emergency & Communications Center (CTECC) yesterday. This facility, which opened in 2003, serves as a hub for emergency management personnel from various agencies in the region. The CTECC is a collaborative operation involving the City of Austin, Travis County, the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), and CapMetro. It plays a crucial role in coordinating emergency responses and enhancing community safety efforts.
