An independent committee will review the first round of North Port Non-Profits United program applications on July 8 at 3 p.m. in room 244 of North Port City Hall.

The North Port Non-Profits United program, NP Squared, was approved by resolution at a City Commission meeting on June 13, 2023. Its primary goal is to support non-profits to enhance and expand their mission.

The committee consists of North Port residents experienced in local education, mental health, senior care, and other areas. None of them are City of North Port employees.
